My Qualifications
English Teaching Assistant, Fulbright
September 2024 - Present
Strengthen the educational and cultural relationships between the United States and Germany. Design and teach units on American topics in consultation with the respective host school English teachers. Enhance English lessons by supporting and supplementing English teachers in the classroom. Qualities for fellowship require adaptability, organization, self-starting, communicative, team-oriented, informed, and having a positive attitude.
Research Assistant,
Motivation and Behavior Lab
August 2022 - May 2024
Implemented testing and surveys to measure relationships between individuals’ self-control and behavior within social constructs. Coded for, analyzed, and presented resulting data of research. Gathered meta analysis of published scholarly articles to support research projects in a group setting.
Behavioral Therapist,

Lead one-to-one therapy sessions working with children of varying ages and disorders on the autism spectrum working to appropriate cognitive, behavioral, social, and intellectual development. Therapists foster a trusting connection, establish positive reinforcements, and continuously seek improvement areas throughout timeline with client.
Child Life Specialist Intern,
Children's Hospital at Erlanger
May 2022 - Late June 2022
Interned at the Children's Hospital in the Oncology Out-Patient Center, where kids came to see me in the playroom while they waited for their procedures or their blood counts to come back, and in the In-Patient Center, where the kids have to stay overnight for long periods of time. I helped kids, of quite literally all ages, feel like normal kids again despite their illnesses and unwanted circumstances.

Supervised children from ages 4-16 at the tennis facility, but I mainly focused on coaching tennis to the younger ages, introducing them to the sport and making them enjoy it enough to continue playing.

UGA Miracle: Raised money for the Children's Health Care of Atlanta. Also participated in a 26.2 hour dance marathon event with the final total fundraising value reveal to the children and their families.

ProjectRed NASA Research Study: 8 psychology undergrads communicated and worked with the HERA Crew located in Houston, Texas to build water wells on Mars through computer simulations. Research was conducted to analyze how communication delay affects efficiency and success.

Strike Magazine (Social Media Marketing): A student-led fashion and culture magazine internship at UGA. Ran the social media account @strikemagazineathens to endorse the magazine and promote PR events.

Motivation and Behavior Lab: Worked as a research assistant under Professor Dr. Van Dellen, helping with research focusing on how people manage and pursue personal goals/behaviors and how it correlates with self-control and their motivations.

David Abshire Civic Leadership Program: A highly-selective program where a handful of students go to Washington D.C. with our dean and other Baylor staff to get an exclusive tour of the Pentagon, Capitol, White House, SCOTUS, Eisenhower Executive Office Building, Treasury Building, National Archives Research Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and more of the many museums. During these visits, we met legislators, Secret Service special agents, chief commanders and supervisors and covered lessons on leadership, public policy, medicine, and more.

Harris Stanford Leadership Program: A selective program where students met bi-weekly to discuss topics concerning leadership, problem-solving, and communication. The group studied and visited all three levels of government: Local, State and Federal. The group traveled to Chattanooga's City Council, Capitol Building in Nashville, UNC Chapel Hill, and Duke to visit and speak with senators, have leadership courses, and have mock sessions in the senate.

Red Circle Ambassador: Gave on-campus tours to prospective students and families and answered their questions about the international day and boarding school: The Baylor School.

Global Scholar: Presented and listened to projects made by national and international students on topics ranging from foreign policy to cultural differences.

Inclusivity Task Force: A handful of students in the upper school were selected to write a statement embodying the importance that diversity distills into the Baylor School.

Peer Support Network: provides support to individual students through tutoring, sponsoring mental health related activities on campus, raising awareness on mental health related issues, and assisting in times of campus or national tragedy.

Siskin Children's Hospital Fundraiser Ambassador: Organized a charity tennis tournament called "Serving It Up for Siskin" in order to raise money for the Siskin Children's Institute. We called sponsors in Chattanooga and all of Tennessee to ask for donations and sponsorships, and then we presented the $11,000 check to the hospital where we also got to meet and play with some of the kids.
